BROOKLYN.PL complies with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act of August 29, 1997. and the Act on the provision of electronic services of July 18, 2002.
We do not share personal data or e-mail addresses of our clients with third parties, we also make sure that these data do not become the object of activity of entities sending unsolicited e-mail.
During a visit to our website, information about the visitor's browser, computer IP address, type of operating system, time of visit, number of pages viewed and how it came to us is automatically collected. This information is not combined with the personal data of subscribers, thanks to which Internet users remain anonymous. We also obtain statistical data on the traffic of users and their use of individual areas of the website from "cookies" files, saved by the server on the hard drives of visitors. These data are collected by external Internet systems commonly used on the market to collect website visit statistics.
The use of some website options, such as purchase history or current order fate, is only possible after registration. Registration is voluntary and is not required to place an order. During registration, the Customer is asked to provide his name and surname, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and any password. From the moment of registration, each subsequent purchase in our store is associated with entering only the login (e-mail address) and password.
Customers who are not registered can also place orders, then with each purchase they will be asked to provide their name, surname, delivery address and telephone number. Each contact with us by phone or e-mail involves the use of the data provided in order to answer the question.
Our databases are thoroughly protected against third party access. Data collected during registration or purchase are used for the correct execution of orders, as well as to track the status of the order and make changes to it at the customer's request before it is sent. Customers retain the right to access, correct and delete their data from the address database after completing the order. These activities can be performed from the level of the store's website after logging in or by contacting the store staff.
In the case of some forms of payment, customer data may be transferred to companies intermediating in payment transactions. These companies do not use customer data in any other way.
Our consultants contact clients by phone or via e-mail. After placing the order, information about the progress of the order is sent to the e-mail address provided. Customers who have agreed to receive information about new products and promotions receive messages about current events in our store in the same way.
